We do encourage regular exams and cleanings, but we also strive to educate our patients about good oral health practices to empower them to take control and make better decisions around their oral health. We work to help patients understand why a treatment is needed, what may be more urgent as well as what can wait.

Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Ben Toone
Dr. Ben Toone is committed to helping others and believes that dental and oral health can contribute to better overall health and wellness. As a dentist, he places a strong emphasis on prevention and addressing dental issues before they begin. Dr. Toone provides general dental needs including fillings, veneers, crown and bridge work, root canal therapy, and wisdom tooth removal.
As a father of three, Dr. Toone works well with children and understands a parent’s concerns around dental health and hygiene. He is always happy to address any questions or concerns his patients or their families might have.
Dr. Peter Lam, DDS
Dr. Peter Lam is a licensed general dentist and has served the Calgary community for over 20 years. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta in 2000 and furthered his education at the Eastman Dental Center and Strong Memorial Hospital in New York for a year.
Dr. Lam is dedicated to delivering patient-centered comprehensive dental care, focusing on preventive care, overall health, and creating confident smiles. He is known for his patient-centered approach, building strong relationships with his patients to ensure they are active participants in their dental care decisions. Dr. Lam emphasizes patient education, empowering individuals to make informed choices about their oral health.
He is especially passionate and has special focus on dental implants, Invisalign orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dental care. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Lam serves as the Chairperson for SAIT’s Dental Assistant Program Advisory Board and had previously served as a clinical instructor for several years. He is actively involved in humanitarian efforts, volunteering his skills with organizations such as Kindness In Action and the Christian Medical And Dental Associations (CMDA), where he provides essential dental services in underserved communities in Central America and Cambodia.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lam finds joy in spending quality time with his wife, Helen, and their daughters, Kianna and Kaylie. His leisure pursuits include fly fishing, camping, and offroading, allowing him to recharge and connect with nature.
Dr. Chamari Jayasingha, BDS
Dr. Chamari Jayasingha graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka . From there, Chamari worked as a dentist in Sri Lanka for 6 years in various clinical settings ranging from rural dental clinics to urban maxillofacial surgery clinics. In 2014, she made the decision to immigrate to Canada with her young family and has called Calgary home ever since.
After moving to Calgary, Chamari worked as a Registered Dental Assistant while completing the lengthy National Dental Examination Board equivalency process and obtaining her license to practice dentistry in Canada.
Chamari believes that prevention and early intervention is the key for optimal dental health and identifies the importance of addressing dental fears and phobias which prevent patients from seeking care.
Chamari is married with two beautiful daughters and a Pyranees pup named Kiri. When she is not working, Chamari enjoys cooking, baking and exploring the outdoors with her family.
