Dr. Chamari Jayasingha

Dr. Jayasingha graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka . From there, Chamari worked as a dentist in Sri Lanka for 6 years in various clinical settings ranging from rural dental clinics to urban maxillofacial surgery clinics. In 2014, she made the decision to immigrate to Canada with her young family and has called Calgary home ever since.

After moving to Calgary, Chamari worked as a Registered Dental Assistant while completing the lengthy National Dental Examination Board equivalency process and obtaining her license to practice dentistry in Canada.

Chamari believes that prevention and early intervention is the key for optimal dental health and identifies the importance of addressing dental fears and phobias which prevent patients from seeking care.

Chamari is married with two beautiful daughters and a Pyranees pup named Kiri. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, baking and exploring the outdoors with her family.
